Who is Darren Stallcup?
My name is Darren Stallcup, I am a Family Powered Grassroots $0 San Francisco Republican candidate running against the machine for California’s 11th Congressional District seat to replace Nancy Pelosi.
We live in a very pivotal moment in history. For the first time ever, we have the collective knowledge of humanity in the palm of our hands at the tips of our fingers. We The People can either use this technology to liberate ourselves once and for all or our oppressors can use the same technology to oppress us once and for all.
I was born and raised in The San Francisco Bay Area. I know every corner of this city and have traveled North, East, South and West our great beautiful country. Growing up I have seen our community go from being the cultural capital of the world to the technology capital.
But with all that light, there is a shadow that has grown darker over the years: Our beautiful San Francisco streets have become a mecca for the destitute. Homeless, Criminals, Addicts as well as Tents, Needles and Garbage.
The disconnect between our government and California Families is repugnant. We pay the most in taxes and have the least representation. The 4th largest economy in the world, but third world conditions across the street from billion dollar tech offices. The cost of living is through the roof. People are living check to check just to pay an arm and a leg to get by. Families are leaving California, our local businesses are closing down and a humanitarian crisis unfolding in our community. It's not just the Tenderloin, it's every neighborhood. When there are large groups of people using drugs next to the playground, that is a problem. The corrupt organizations and non-profits who benefit from the suffering on the streets also support the candidates I am running against who enable all this chaos and lawlessness.
I am running for Congress to fight government corruption, mandate thorough mass audits to ensure accountability, restore public safety across our communities and support the brave men and women who protect us every day. I will advocate passionately for Women’s Rights, expand healthcare access for all families, lower burdensome taxes to ease financial strain and work to lower the cost of living for every resident. My agenda includes cutting all the excessive red tape that prevents us from streamlining progress, building affordable housing, reopening shelters for the homeless and funding robust recovery and rehabilitation programs to heal our city. I will boost local jobs to strengthen our economy, protect the environment with true conservatism, champion education reform to empower our youth and reopen public bathrooms. Additionally, I pledge to plant redwood trees to preserve our natural Golden State heritage, preserve the pristine beauty of Lake Tahoe and Yosemite for future generations, help family businesses thrive not just survive, uphold the animal rights of Cats and Dogs and support the tech industry (ensuring we don’t run tech out of town) to keep innovation alive. I will improve infrastructure to enhance our bridges and roads which will improve our daily lives, enhance earthquake preparedness to safeguard our homes, advance the visionary Alaska-Russia Bridge to connect the world and develop the very ambitious Pan-American Highway to unite all of the Americas, all while staying true to my roots and honoring the families of San Francisco.
We are on the 20th year anniversary of Gavin Newsom's 10 year plan to solve homelessness. Billions of dollars have been spent only for the situation to get worst.
For YEARS I have walked our streets helping the homeless, raising awareness about the dangers of fentanyl as well as holding corrupt politicians and non-profits accountable through citizen journalism and Public Speaking at City Hall and National Television. Every day and night, I handed out blankets, food, ponchos and winter jackets to our most vulnerable neighbors left exposed to the elements by the Homeless Industrial Complex. While my opponents built relationships with corrupt non-profits and organizations, I was building relationships with the less fortunate on the streets.
Unlike the ultra wealthy elite democrat 1%, I don't see criminals, homeless people or drug addicts as a dollar sign.
Besides volunteering at local shelters and churches, I have spent years as a neighborhood watch in SOMA, Chinatown, Union Square and everywhere in between, protecting our last few remaining grocery stores and stopping restaurant robberies as well as multiple citizen arrests. Some people call me The Chinatown Cowboy, others call me The San Francisco Batman. After making dozens of citizens arrest, some people started calling me The Chinatown Cowboy and others called me The San Francisco Batman. It's true, I have been known to chase down the bad guys. We need fearless leaders who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty for California. During these dark and chaotic, lawless times, I have never hesitated to do the right thing. I don't play games when it comes to the safety of Elders, Women and Children.
I am running for office because our leaders have forgotten that family is the most important thing in the world.
I have been pouring out my blood, sweat and tears for San Francisco while our local leaders sat on their ass in some mansion on top of the hill. I understand that I am young and don’t have a Harvard law degree. But I do have the balls to save California. I bring to the table real experience... not from towering offices behind a keyboard and desk, but from the streets, from the people, from the heart of San Francisco, from the heart of America.
I represent the common man, the working class, the dreamers, the families who still believe America can be greater than ever before.
You don’t need a lifetime in Washington D.C. swamp to understand right from wrong, you just need a conscience, courage and love for our great beautiful country.
I may be not know everything but I do know that I have more experience on the frontlines, in the trenches, than any of my opponents. I’ve lived firsthand what they only talk and make false promises about. I have crossed oceans for our community when these politicians refused to jump over puddles.
Winter has a way of purifying the camp. Debate season is coming and I don't need any talking cards or teleprompters. You won't see me with an ear piece. I know California better than any of these democrat candidates.
My World Peace platform is as humble of a beginning as California can hope for. I do all this with $0 ... no PACs, no tech cash, no lobbyists. I am a man of the people who will fight for San Francisco. I love this place with all of my heart and I'm not leaving.
It's time to return the power of California back to the families.
